Organised by Ole Martin Sandberg, the sessions commingled research contexts from network members based in H\u00e1sk\u00f3li \u00cdslands\u2019 Research Centre in \u00deingeyjarsveit and Research Centre in H\u00f6fn, University of Bifr\u00f6st, Listah\u00e1sk\u00f3li, as well as independent scholars. There was a strong subcurrent presenting climate and affect pedagogical approaches. This double panel surfaced a robust and lively network in its infancy but with promise for future collaboration. The session should become a staple of future Hugv\u00edsinda\u00feingar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics presented over four hours included soil mutuality (Helga \u00d6gmundard\u00f3ttir), vegetal community (Gunnd\u00eds \u00ddr and Mariana Lucia Tamayo), glacial relations (\u00deorvar\u00f0ur \u00c1rnason and Angela Sn\u00e6fellsj\u00f6kuls Rawlings), just transition (Jean-R\u00e9mi\u2026), sketching despair and radical hope in more-than-human constellations (\u00d3lafur P\u00e1ll J\u00f3nsson and R\u00e1n Flygenring), as well as ecofiction and speculative curation (Bergsveinn \u00deorsson and Thomas Pausz). On behalf of the research project F\u00f3kus: Centering Families in Iceland\u2019s Just Transition, Dr. Rawlings introduced the in-progress manuscript \u201cJust Ice: Econarratives of Kin Relations in a Time of Deglaciation\u201d they are co-writing with Au\u00f0ur A\u00f0alsteinsd\u00f3ttir.
